BMW heeft de afgelopen twee jaar aan een zelfrijdende motor gewerkt.
Het testvoertuig kan zelf optrekken, bochten maken en remmen.
BMW wil naar eigen zeggen geen zelfrijdende motor op de markt brengen.
Het is de bedoeling de functies te gebruiken voor normale motoren.
Zo dient het als hulpmiddel en hoopt BMW het aantal ongelukken terug te dringen.
