Roadrats stelt zich voor

Wellicht een beetje vreemde eend in de bijt maar ik kwam op dit forum doordat ik nog steeds worstel met mijn Zumo 590 navigatie en zag dat hier aardig wat kennis aanwezig is. Ik rij al zo'n 40 jaar motor, ook altijd woon-werk verkeer per motor afgelegd en dat was zeker zo'n 30 jaar geleden vooral in mijn toenmalige werkkring (bank en verzekerings wezen) absoluut nog niet gebruikelijk. De merken die ik gereden heb zijn Honda, Yamaha ( oa. over land naar Nepal) BMW maar nu eigenlijk nog uitsluitend klassieke Harley's. Maar het gaat natuurlijk vooral om het genieten op de motor, de vrijheid, de techniek etc. Woon inmiddels in het rustige noorden van Drenthe na 40 jaar in de drukken randstad te hebben gewoond en gewerkt. Genoeg mooie weggetjes in het noorden om te genieten met de motor en het leuke is dat mijn vrouw ook nog zelf op haar motor rijdt.
