Hi thanks for allowing me to join you on the forum. I am 61 and still very much active and working. At present i have a 2008 st1300 with 19,000 miles and a 1993 st 1100 ABS / TCS with 20,000 miles. I have done zero miles on this st1100 but did previously have a st1100 ABS / TCS which i used for work (instructor) and put 89,000 miles on that and it was still going strong. I also had a 2004 st1300 which was a 'touring bike' and did a number of euro trips and laps of the 'ring'.
No longer instructing so both are now for pleasure only. I do all my own servicing where possible and only default to dealer / local shop if tight on time or special tools needed which i can't get in time or make.
Look forward to reading your posts ..... "the day we stop learning is the day we should stop riding" :)
